The Standard Method for Measuring Floor Area in Office Buildings is the result of joint action by participating organizations under the auspices of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). The current Standard in broad use throughout North America is ANSI Z65.1-1996.

Intro To Building Operations

The Introductory Course (Building Operator 3) is  offered online.

Purpose: This course is designed to give individuals an Introduction to Building Operations and prepare them for the Building Operator 2 (5th class Power Engineering) course. This course is equivalent to 30 classroom hours.

Introduction: Safety training related to operation of a commercial building, Interpersonal, Computer, Administrative, Facility and Process Equipment, Rotating Equipment, Facility Maintenance and Construction. The students will also have to complete competencies before they successfully complete this program.
